The exhibition presents important as well as neglected inventors and discoverers who share the common denominator of having a close bond to the Czech lands.

This is an opportunity for you to get acquainted with eventful lives of more than 20 important figures who have left behind an indelible impression in the form of work of global or European significance in many field of human activity – e.g. engineering, medicine, agriculture, biology, chemistry or humanities. Those interested in oddities and absurdities will have their share too. Maybe you will be surprised how many everyday items are of Czech origin. With some inventions the originals are displayed, with others you will have an opportunity to try out the principle of their functioning by means of interactive models and various games.
